Plastic Recycling Program

At the start of Term 3, CSHS initiated a new plastic recycling program at the school. The Program is in collaboration with Greenbatch encouraging students to recycle their plastic wastes. (Currently there is no plastic recycling facilities in WA and Greenbatch is working towards building WA’s first recycling facility). By recycling through Greenbatch we can save plastic from entering landfills, oceans and waste incinerators.

Through the Greenbatch partnership program with schools around Western Australia to give waste plastic a new life, it is hoped the bottles collected will be input for Greenbatch’s future plastics reprocessing plant, right here in WA.
