Students Win BHP Future Ready STEM Challenge

Students of the Churchlands STEM Program were recently tasked with solving difficult problems as part of the BHP Future Ready STEM Challenge. Year 9 STEM students Hamza Khan, Kai Ng and Xin Ze Cai used skills obtained in the STEM elective course to independently come up with a novel solution for rehabilitation of mining areas. As a result of their impressive research, design and prototype presentation, the three students were recently announced as winners of the STEM Challenge.
