The Foundation is registered as a Deductible Gift Recipient and gifts to the Foundation are tax deductible. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated, promptly acknowledged and receipted and carefully managed.

Why a Bequests?
A bequest provides the opportunity for you to support Churchlands in a way that may not be possible during your lifetime. After making arrangements for your loved ones, you may consider including Churchlands in your Will. A gift through a bequest can help the school to move forward confidently, knowing that its finances into the future are assured.
How to leave a bequest?
We encourage you to discuss your wishes with your family and recommend that you contact your solicitor to discuss how your intentions may be recorded. In order to complete your wishes, you may need to draw up a new Will or amend your existing Will. Any amendments made to an existing Will should be discussed with your legal advisor.
Types of bequest
There are a number of different types of bequest that you may consider when deciding to provide a bequest to Churchlands:
- A pecuniary bequest allows you to gift a specific amount of money.
- A residuary bequest is when a percentage or the residual of your estate is bequeathed after gifts to your loved ones have been distributed and other commitments have been fulfilled.
- A specific or non-money bequest is a gift of assets such as shares, art, property or other articles of value that are gifted to the Foundation.
When making a bequest in your Will, please include Churchlands Senior High School Foundation (Inc) as the beneficiary. Your gift to Churchlands will be gratefully received, and by notifying us of your intentions, we can acknowledge your generosity during your lifetime.
